Desks and More

It is so warm here in southern Arizona that it does NOT feel like Christmas!  I even had my air conditioner on in my car Monday!  But one thing is does feel like is Wednesday and the day many of us share a view of our desks in all their "glory".  This fun weekly tour of desks is brought together by Julia at the Stamping Ground.  (I was MIA last  week due to many commitments.)  This is a view of my desk yesterday as I was cleaning piles, mailing Christmas cards, and what not.

Hmmm, what is here...   Left to right, in front is my Planner with a pad of paper on it, and sheets of projects from the company I'm with.  Kinda center... my address book on my paper trimmer, some cards, a roll of carpet tape (for an upcoming project) with my blue stamp cleaning rag toward the back. Next to the rag is a small box with the most frequently used acrylic blocks, my bone folder and Bloom tool.  Far right, some scraps of paper, my ATG adhesive roller, clear boxes for projects.

A couple of my recent projects:

A new paint can...  It holds gift cards, a bag of fancy Pecans from a local Pecan store, and some chocolate nuggets. I've had this can for a few years and decided it was time.  The opener is taped to the lid.

And a little treat box with some Christmas goodies.  Simple but cute. (I needed a break from all the Pop & Twist cards I've been making.)

I have now gotten all my gifts mailed.  Only local gifts are left.  Still mailing out cards and probably will up until Christmas Eve.

How are you coming with your Christmas goodies?  And now you can head over to the Stamping Ground to see more "goodies" and fun stuff!

Happy WOYWW. I adore the can and treat box. Yes, simple - but just so stylish and festive. I am finishing off the packing of presents to post today. I will be glad when this week is over. Ali x #25

Oh nice! I really like the paint can and little gift box, that's something different for sure :-). I'm not jealous about your warm temperatures.....oh, ok, I am! It's been grey and grizzly here.

That paint can is an amazing idea for a gift. So much fun to open it and find all the goodies inside! It sounds as if it's been amazingly warm where you are. It's cold here but not unendurably so!

Thank you for your lovely comment - so glad you like my current project. I am having a lot of fun with it as it's endlessly creative. I think my finger is improving somewhat but my joints look all nobbly! Not pretty!

Wonderful tin to store treats in!

Tell you what, you can send me some of that Arizona warmth and I'll send you some of this Michigan snow and cold. I admit the snow makes things a little Christmassy, but, to be honest, I've already had enough!

Happy WOYWW

Hi Sistah', Love the paint can and really Love the treat box. Air conditioning??? It's ch-ch-chilly in Michigan! Right now it's -6 in Menominee and a snowstorm is headed here on Friday. I do have to say it is beautiful to look at though.
Merry Christmas, Love, Gail S.

Love the can, what a lovely idea, and beautifully done. I enlarged your pic as normal, but try as I might, I can't identify the bloom tool. What have you got that I haven't, and do I need one?!!
