Waterfalls and Christmas

I finished all my card samples for upcoming classes next year and, in looking back, I didn't get this one posted.  It's my first attempt at a waterfall card and I think it turned out pretty good.

I used the Sentimental Prints stamp set and Blue Lagoon ink.  The pattern paper is from the Basic Pastels Paper Pack.  The card stocks are Blue Lagoon, Sweet Pear, and Whip Cream.

The little ribbon loop at the bottom where you pull is from my stash as are the eyelets.  I actually got to use my Crop-a-Dile which has been gathering dust in its drawer for quite some time.  This card was much easier to make than I expected and I will be making more!

This class is scheduled for March 16 at the Canoa Social Center in Green Valley, AZ through G.V.R.  If you are in Green Valley please check with the GVR Winter Catalog for supplies needed.  I will have some papers available for sale and will be some tools to use.  Directions will be available with step-by-step pictures.

I even got 4 Christmas cards made this week along with some special items needed.

I started by die cutting my top Whip Cream layer with the Journey Circles dies.  Then I used the Yummy Dots embossing folder on that layer and attached it to my base card with foam dots.  Next I die cut the  holly and berries from the Journey Blooms Holiday Set and embossed them.  After adhering them I added the words from the Ugly Sweater stamp set with the Gold ink.

It was hard getting a good picture with all the white but at least my close up does show it off pretty good. I found a few Christmas cards from last year so I am not so pressured to get oodles made.  Whew!

Love your waterfall card - has been a long time since I have made one of those.
