Whoo Hoo!

I hope to have a card making party soon and was asked to show how to make this style of card.  All stamps used are by Fun Stampers Journey.  I even used my new Grand Calibur as I need to get familiar with it.

This is the flip card closed.  I had to work a bit at getting the die placed just right and only cut half of it.

And here's the card open.  I white embossed the flowers on blue before die cutting.  I made sure which way the die best fit the flower stamp and marked like edges on both before .  This helped in making sure the die cutting was accurate.  I used the "Greet & Shout" set for the words inside, the "Sweet Today" set for the flowers and outside text, and the "Sweet Today" die set to die cut the flowers.

I added some color with a Copic marker and hand cut the flower center.  She loved this card but I'm not going to have them make it.  I'll come up with something else that's MUCH easier to do!

Pat yourself on the back for this one, I always seem to have trouble with the lining up of the cut, its' a bright and cheerful card. Thanks for sharing.
