Candy Corn pumpkin on my Desk

Wasn't Wednesday just a couple days ago?  Sure seems that way. The days are just flying by!  But I'm wondering if you enjoy seeing my desk on Wednesday....  I sure enjoy the opportunity that Julia over at the Stamping Ground gives us to be a part of a colossal blog tour of desks and inspiration!    My desk shows a project I need to finish soon!

I purchased a couple styrafoam pumpkins from JoAnns craft store and a roll of candy corn duct tape from Michaels.  I did one of these last year but gave the pumpkin to our daughter in WY when we went up for Thanksgiving.  This completed pumpkin goes to my folks and the yet-to-be-covered one will be for us.  These are very light weight so need to be kept in the house.

I had to dig deep in a box of decorative tape to find this roll... actually a Michaels staff gal found it as she knew it was there.

Now I need to go to Julia's Stamping Ground and start visiting.  I was still visiting yesterday when I was working on some other projects like cleaning out the kitchen pantry...  This is more fun.  Grab your coffee or tea and enjoy!

How cool! Love it! Love that you can have it year to year as well. I gave a clear bowl that I use for my Halloween candy that you fill and can see what is inside and I filled it years ago with candy corns and it still looks fab and so many want the bowl when they come to my door. Thank for sharing, I have to find me some tape to try this! Winnie#103

I need to find a Styrofoam pumpkin... we had tears from a certain small boy here when his pumpkin went mouldy! The taped version looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#12)

Happy Belated WOYWW. What a brilliant pumpkin. We do not really celebrate Halloween here in the UK, but there is more stuff in the shops each year. Ali x #96

Now that is some sweet pumpkin, Carol! glad you located some colorful duct tape...or was it duck tape?( we have hunted through both brand names for OCC shoeboxes). Fun to see your projects for the AZ store upcoming classes. Thanks for showcasing a treat of a taste!
Big storm ready to descend on the area. Weather reports grow inches of flakes and duration of storm life with each new edited version of weather reporting. Hang on! Shovel on! Watch for ice! These may all be the montra of the days ahead.
Keep Looking UP!
