Pockets and Gates....

I still have a lot of cards to show you that I made at the retreat 2 weeks ago.  I was going through my Technique Junkies Fancy Folds & Motion Paper Crafts CD and 3D & Fun Folds Paper Crafts CD which I keep going back to for cool ideas.  Are you ready?

This is a pocket card.  Obvious, of course.  I used paper from The Angel Company as I still have LOTS! Hard to buy more when I need to use what I have.   I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch the holes and set all the eyelets.  I've been thinking about stamping the green strip but so far nothing has come to me.

The stamp is from the Hero Art's Say It All stamp set and the card it's on does open.  I used a Scallop Border die from A|Muse Studios for the purple piece.  I think one almost needs sunglasses to view this card. LOL!

This is a double gate card.  I should have taken a picture from the top but I did use a 12" long piece of card stock.  Paper was purchased from Memory Works and is Basic Grey's Indie Bloom collection.  I really like this paper!

The purple label is a sticker from the paper collection and the text is from Hero Arts's Say It All stamp set.

I hope to remove the Word Verification on the comment area next week.  It's been great NOT getting all those pornographic comments and other garbage this week.  Those comments were just SO disgusting! I have noticed that my hits or visits have also dropped off.... Hope this isn't a trend!

Stampin' Carol, good to see the gate fold in all its prettiness. Thanks for the spring colors.

Pocket cards offer so much flexibilty with most every kind of paper. Tiny sized gifts find safety in fold flap pockets adhered to the slide in card.
How are you doing for envelopes? A gal at the card counter/ display has been gifting me with out of season envies. They have to be bent over to seal in the A2 size suitable for one first class stamp which works for acceptable length. With Valentine cards being made for the Detroit Children's Hospital a supply of envelopes is handy. WalMart's envies A2 have become so very thin. Cost has not thinned! Have you found an outlet of less than five cents each?
Off to ready and drive. Thanks for your prayers. Keep Looking Up! mt23stamperatyaho
