I recently purchased the Fancy Flourish die made by Cheery Designs and came up with another Easter card...
I really got the compliments on this at the retreat! Stamp is from The Angel Company.
I ran the white panel through the Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss embossing folder. I had some purple scraps and when I found purple little flowers in the Assorted Gem & Pearl collection I really took off! Now that top leaf had a bit of glue come through it when I adhered it so a little rhinestone hid the boo-boo! But now I have the die cut negative to play with!!!
I had some sticky stuff on the negative and couldn't get it off until I sanded which ended up giving a distressed look in that spot. So.... I added some more sanding, layered on darker green and added the big rhinestones! Voila!! How fun! I can still stamp something in the "blank" areas on this to fit the occasion when I'm ready to use it. Have you used the negative of a die cut??
