Best Wishes

Well, our grandson-in-law's birthday is today and I'm a bit late in getting his card in the mail.  Then I realized after I got it in the envelope, sealed and addressed, that I didn't take a picture of it.  It was one of those mornings.  I was so intent on getting it ready to go that I spaced the photo.  So, I carefully cut the edge of the envelope, removed the card, took the pictures, put the card back in the envy, and carefully taped the edge closed.  It got mailed and he should have it tomorrow or Monday.  That card has to travel about 1400 miles.  But I can at least show you the card!

Sky is a cowboy and does a lot of rodeo-ing as does our granddaughter.  This horse stamp is by Ducks in a Row.  I bet this is one of my first purchases when I started stamping about 18 years ago.  The text is from The Angel Co.  I used some brown twine from The Twinery and some cool paper!

It's hard to see but the paper looks like wood.

You an see it better here.  The edge of the text layer had some "wear" on it that was actually part of the pattern.  Kinda reminds me of worn veneer.  I like how this turned out.  Nothing fancy but a very masculine card.  I think he'll like it, too.

And you will want to see my Sunday post.  It's an amazing card, in my opinion, from a class I took (not taught) yesterday.

Great card for a grandson-in-law and the sentiment looks like it was made for the card. Great job.

Cute card, Carol. I like the horse stamp. I had horses and showed them.
