A Flower from circles

My friend, Susanne, gave me a quick lesson plus the directions for a cool flower made from 8 circles.  The directions called for double-sided pattern cardstock.  Well, ok...  I gave it a try thinking it might make a cool class.

Not bad but it was a bugger getting these 2" circles to fold where I wanted them to fold and not crack...  Plus I had to remember which side was up when I started the folding so that all the circles were the same.  The text is a TAC stamp.

Cool flower but I really need to use double-sided pattern PAPER, not cardstock. I did check the LSS in Green Valley, AZ but they didn't have paper, just cardstock. I inked all the edges to hide the cracks and the center HAD to have something to hide the unevenness.  I can't tell you anything about the cardstock as it was in my scrap bucket. The pink circle kinda matched a little pink in the cardstock pattern as did the button. I don't think I'll try to teach this until I find paper...

What a cool project - it turned out perfect. I'm not much into the folding but have done some - ps don't like quilling either!!! Great job.
