Burnished Velvet

As promised here is the 2nd card I made from the Elizabeth Crafts class I took last Friday evening.  Please go to previous post for links.

This technique is called Burnished Velvet.  It uses the micro-fine glitter and Spellbinder dies.  Truly beautiful.
I'm not into glitter except for Stickles and I seem to have quite a bit but not the micro-fine.

The long border to the right of the glitter piece is a peel-off sticker!  The text is from TAC and is silver embossed.

In real life this is just amazing in sparkle.  There is NO way to get that across in a photo. But check Els gallery (click HERE) to see more stunning artwork! Oh, these pages are on FaceBook but you can view some of her cool stuff but for more info here is her BLOG.

And I added the link for the Highlight glitter used on the teapot. Just go back to the previous post and click on the word Highlight.

Burnished velvet is soooo awesome in person. I've got several cards from a friend that took a similar class. I always wonder how much glitter is worn compared to how much is burnished into the card lol. The colors are lovely indeed.
