Sand and Sea Challenge

I love joining in on the challenges over on Operation Write Home's blog and I finally got a chance (hubby is home sick so I stayed in my craft room so he could sleep) to make something for their 6th challenge called Sand and Sea.  The card MUST use tan and blues to qualify.  Well, I think this card does that!

And since the challenge had "sand" and "sea" I think my stamped image really qualified!  It's from a set by Inkadinkado called Down By The Sea.  The pattern paper is from The Angel Company (and do I have a LOT of their paper!) from a collection called Surf Shoppe.

I cut out a couple of the leaves and adhered them to kinda frame the stamped piece.  I love this saying! And the little guy looking for treasures... just precious!

So, stop by OWH and see a LOT more cards in this challenge!!

I love the stamp, too. What a bright fun card. I like how you used the elements to frame the card.

I love how you placed the leaves to overlap the focal image. Nicely done!

Carol, this card is so very nice. Love that image and the beautiful sentiment. Great cutting job on those leaves. Hope hubby is feeling better soon. there is a lot of illness going around.

LOVE how you used the stamp and the paper together! I've still got some of that paper in my stash too.
