I hope you all had a GREAT Christmas! We sure did! I hope to get back into stamping, etc... In fact, I must as I have our FINAL blog post Wednesday for the Totally Awesome Chicks. Working on some ideas! This card was inspired as I blurfed the other day. The stamp set is Dotted Dahlias that I purchased from Layers of Color Art Stamps. They were redesigning the "store" when I scheduled this post so keep checking back to see what is available. This large set (10 stamps for $24.95 plus shipping) was designed by Nina Brackett and are clear. I'm struggling with clear stamps, I love "rubber" stamps. They seem to clean up better and I think I get a better image. Oh well.
I like how this turned out. It took a bit of work to get the 3 panels to fit like they did. I started with the middle panel then went from there for my sizes. I used a Fiskars border punch for the bottom edge.
I don't remember where I got this cool red sparkly paper but it really adds some bling to the flower, don't you think so? Now I better get to working on my TAC project!

Great card--I took the plunge and bought a set too--hate the acrylic --it stamps crappy! I am going to try stamping on some fun foam to see if it helps. If not, I will be selling my set real fast!
Beautiful card - like the red with the kraft and white. I wasn't aware the LOC stamps were acrylic, I definitely do not like they way the stamp (although your flower looks great).
Beautiful card. Love the red sparkly paper. I think tac used to sell this a long time ago. I think it just takes getting used to the acrylic. I like rubber better but the acrylic works okay.
