My mom turned 80 yesterday and this is the card I made for her. We purchased the "Swivel Store" as her gift which I just really like! Anyway, I'll show you the card.
I set it outside on a log so that's why it's leaning a bit. I used a stamp from a Nina B. set called Wonderful Words. The paper I picked up at Joann's on sale. It's from a 12 x 12 pad by K & Company called TC Cottage Garden. I bought the matching Layered Accents too, but none of them matched this particular sheet. Oh well.
I made my own flower embellishment from assorted punched then added a rhinestone to finish it off. A pop dot gave it the height I need to roll the petals down for dimension.
We all celebrated mom's birthday at Red Lobster. She loves to go there for her birthday. It was a great time!
I did get my pics downloaded from our Sedona, AZ trip but need to crop, resize, etc. Am ordering some paper from Memory Works to use for scrapping them. I also got a cool globe frame from our LSS here in Green Valley, AZ to decorate and insert a picture of me and hubby. But, gotta wait until my order comes in!
