Color Me Christmas

My last post showed my playing with Color Me paper.  I made 3 Christmas cards for my Sept. challenge using my samples.  I love how they turned out and the special paper just really pops!  All cards used The Angel Company stamps.

This card used the swiped ink piece.

I used 2 different snowflake punches for embellishments.  I ran the delicate snowflakes through my Xyron X sticker maker. Unfortunately, I could not get the excess adhesive off after sticking the small snowflake to the large.  Out came my static pad!  Just patting it on the snowflakes helped so much! And what do you think of the cool crystals? Don't they add more elegance??

This card uses the shimmer chalked piece.  I also used my Corner Chomper, Fiskars Treading Water border punch, and a circle punch.

I added some chalk to the snowflake and text pieces to cut back on the stark white and help tie the pieces together.  And, of course, I added a gem to the little snowflake. Gotta have bling!

This card used the Walnut Inked piece. This is a 4 1/4" square card. I maybe should have lightly inked the text piece but just not sure.

What do you think? Should I leave the text piece white or lightly spray it with the Cornflower Walnut Ink?

I'm staying on track with getting my 5 Christmas cards a month done!  Will you have yours done in time?  Don't procrastinate! I hate being rushed at the last minute!

Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.  Psalm 100:2

I do so much appreciate your comments on my projects.  Even if you have an idea to change an element or embellishment that may make the project even more appealing.  Thanks.

These are just beautiful! I like the crisp white of the sentiment layer on the walnut ink version, I wouldn't add spray to it.
