Eyes To See

Finally, a masculine card!  This stamp set, Eyes To See, is just TOO cool!! I love it! The project was designed by Angel Holly Mays but I didn't exactly follow directions but it's close.

We used jute for the cord-like embellishment and a photo turn.  The base card is kraft cardstock with a black cardstock layer.

After I finished the card I spritzed it with Copper Shimmer Spritz.  In real life this card is wonderful!  My hubby loves this card and he's not the hunter type. (He prefers beef.)

We should be home tomorrow night.  I'll post some pics on my Livin Hot blog of our family reunion, family, and friends along with some scenery after I get my camera downloaded to my computer. As this post goes live we'll be leaving Powell, WY heading for somewhere in Utah to stay the night. We are exhausted but had SO much fun visiting with family and showing our son the "sights".

Nice card. I think I would have overlooked this set before I saw this card. Now it is on my list to buy.

Hey, this reminds me, while in Billings two of these wild birds were cruising with a white domestic bird sporting muddy (oily from the oil spill on the Yellowstone?)wings and tail as a blend in ticket to mixing with Spring Parks' flock on the rolling hillside. That almost whity stuck out like a thumb. It knew no better than to stick with the locals and feed from the local humans. What a second glance turning gawk!
Card certainly showcases the stamp set with handsome flair. Well done! these cards embellished with cord have such a distinctive feel to them. Revive the days of talking through memories as pages of a rectangular photo album turn. Good times.
Keep Looking UP!
