CAS Blog Hop....

You know by now how I like to make fast and easy cards.  Well, over on Paper Wings (a great place to view TAC images on wonderful cards and projects)we are blog hoppin' making CAS cards - you know, clean and simple!  And we are only allowed 1 layer! I chose the sets Sunshine and Fancy Curls to use on my card.  It's a 4 1/4" square card as the standard A2 card just overwhelmed my chosen stamps with too much white space.

I stamped the flourish with Raw Sienna PH ink as it coordinates so well with the colors of the Copic markers I used on the flower.

Here you can see the center of the flower.  I had a jar of "Mini Mosaics" by Suze Weinberg called Cracked Corn (for the color).  I did color under them with some brown Copic markers to give them a brown background in case any gaps showed.  I also double stamped the phrase with both Noir and Raw Sienna inks just for fun.  I did get the Happiness a bit off kilter but hopefully whoever receives this card will be SO impressed with the flower they won't notice.  Do you think I'll be that lucky?

After leaving me a comment or rating please visit these talented angels with their CAS cards.

Carol, your work displays true life, a bit different all the time to make the view that much more beautiful! Kind of like a wonderment ah ha!
Carol, please look for TAC in Slave Lake, Alberta, Canada. Huge wild fire burnt 30% - 40% of the city(7,000) just read/ viewed about it on internet. Site on scs where cards may be sent to encourage those displaced! Burnt out with all gone but the shorts and top on their backs! Please email Liz Goddard for her response about her mail request since it has been said about the internet that Canadian Mail is Still on strike....would a letter headed that way stacked up in a USA warehouse be as much encouragement as people here could share there? Thanks for your checking further on scs. I have lost all address book info in a crash while flooding action in this twice hit community with snowmelt flood expected to hit some time mid July depending how hot each day and night is between now and then.
This community has been landlocked by water three times due to road closurers, wash outs, berms breached, and flooded roadways. Get used to it! Water is expected to rise again. Load up those store shelves with water, canned goods, dry goods, frozen, you read the drill. Thankfully the first round of flooding was before the Memorial Day food order for groceries and cafes so those not flooded could service most peoples' needs. Meds, docs, emergencies were sent in/ out by air or boated in except for on US Senator who demanded that all emergency workers stop, come to his 'port of entry to the flood zone', greet and tour him with all officials of any officiadom in attendance...cameras and all. That flooded the needs of people in various ways you can tally ho. Now, thank you, Carol, for looking on scs for card request/prayer requests Slave Lake burnt request cards near the top of the listings on that forum. Thank you for getting back to me. I have an envie with some postcard supports just so more may be reached with the first envie entering the hurt zone. If you find out about strike and the church's ability to accept mail, I will try to get on some blogs to make a comment toward encouraging these people. That's the fastest help stateside people may have with these great miles and hurts deep within your fire community and our flooded twice waiting for the third while cleaning up again following number two hit community.
Anticipating hearing from you. Glad you can edit this or delete the message so more could be typed here beyond your eyecatching floral one layer wonder card!! Go girl!
Keep Looking Up!
