Tune In Tuesday - Pastel Cards

Today, over on the TAC Savvy Projects blog, Rita Kegg is the guest designer showcasing pastel cards.  She is an amazingly talented woman!  I really recommend you check out her projects after reading my post. Anyway, I tried to do a pastel card but seems like I have a problem with just soft light colors.  But, I did try...   Here's what I came up with...

I used More Mimi SWIC for the base card.  The little brown motif is the Mini Damask gift with purchase stamp from the Fall Supplement.  The text is from the Inspirational Sayings set.  How do you like that upper right corner?  I found a Gem & Pearl Collection in brown and the ivory colors of the gems is just gorgeous!

Here is a close-up of the bow made with my Bow Easy.  I'm trying to hide a bit of bright color that was on the tag. Oh well,  I didn't totally make pastels.  But I will be trying some of Rita's ideas!!

Now, check out these cool projects! Remember, the list will grow during the week so keep checking back. (And for some reason my picture wouldn't upload properly to this list but at least my link is there! Goofy)

Ah Ha! It worked! Just had to pop on between long extended tower blips! Second try is a good one for this comment box.

I think you did an awesome job - get choice of soft pastel colors. Love your cute little bow.
