Easter Joy...

Easter is the last Sunday of this month.  I send out cards to our children, folks, and granddaughters so I'm getting started.  Plus, today TAC Savvy Projects blog is showcasing 2 great projects by Angela Kelley celebrating The Joy of Easter!  Just had to play along...

Since I have so few current stamp sets I used Hedgehog Happiness which is a hostess level C set.  Isn't this little guy just adorable!! The paper is Lilly Anna SWIC, matching cardstock, and White Caboodle cardstock.  I colored the images with numerous Copic markers.  And I used my Corner Chomper to round the corners and a Cuttlebug embossing folder to make the pattern on the green base piece.

I found some large rhinestones in my stash and thought they'd make great "hubcaps".  I learned one thing cutting out the bunnies and eggs before popping them into the wagon... Gotta wear cheater glasses!!  That grass is a bugger to cut!!

I used my 1/2 circle punch to get these flowers off the SWIC paper edge,  I used 3/16" glue dots to adhere the flowers to the ribbon, the mini rhinestones to the flowers, and the ribbon to the striped cardstock. I really didn't want my ribbon to be shifting around when I mail the card.

So, check out Angela's projects after you leave a comment or rating of my card.  Thanks!!

This turned out just too stinkin cute - you did a lot of cutting but the end result was perfect. Love your punched flowers and ribbon.

Cheater glasses are the bomb - have a pair in every room. Not that I'm old or anything - had lasik surgery several years ago and this is one of the side effects!

Love all the details on your card! It totally rocks!
