2011 Calendar page

Each year angel Kathleen does a calendar swap and I just tell her to assign me a month.  I'm not picky.  Well, a couple months ago I posted some little sneak peeks and, since I have now received the completed calendar, I can show you the full page! I used 2 stamp sets, Give Thanks and Swirley Bet for my September page.

I colored the acorns using Copic markers and  raised some of the acorns using foam tape. Oh, I used the long leaf border from Autumn Leaves with VersaMark ink for the top and bottom edges.  It gives a nice subtle finish in my opinion.  And card stock is by Bazzill, a great textured card stock which TAC™ sells on page 115 of the Inspiration Book & Catalogue as sets of 6 colors of 2 sheets each or individual colors of 25 sheets.  Now I just need to bind the top edge of the whole calendar to keep the months together.  I don't have the Cinch yet, still using my Bind It All.  Maybe someday I'll get one....

Did you have a good New Year's Eve celebration?  We went to church, had snacks and a movie, then prayed out 2010 and prayed in 2011. Enjoyed the fellowship and time with God.

What a year! 2011 has color and dimension! Great fun to turn month pages while at the same time delighting in each contributor's creativity! Thanks for sharing the entire page, Carol. This is good.
Keep Looking UP!
