I recently got the 8th Edition CD from Technique Junkies and found this bonus technique that's not been in the newsletters. Well, by golly, it was so easy and fast yet I love the look! Remember when "shadow" stamps were popular? The look is similar but I just used my little Palette Ink Spots directly on the white card stock!
The phrase is from the Sophisticated Sentiments Hostess level A set and the cool flower is from the Place In My Heart set. I used Noir, Landscape, Beaux Arts Blue, and Moulin Rouge PH inks. I colored the white sheer ribbon with Copic marker R89 which matched the burgundy cardstock very well!
After I inked the images I stamped them off once on scrap paper then reinked the edges. The leaves/stem just didn't retain as much ink as I hoped but still came out pretty good. I added some bling with my Stardust Clear Gel pen to the leaves and some petals (which you can't see here).
I finally got some new ink cartridges for my printer so hope to make some pages of our Sedona trip soon.
