It's getting spooky around here....

We don't really celebrate Halloween but our granddaughters do go Trick or Treating and dress up oh so cute! Well, I try to send cute treats to them and cards to our children to keep in touch.  I seen these cool coffins at Michaels and the wheels started spinning! I painted the coffins with black gesso then added the retired paper from Too Spooky and images from the Spiders Are Seen set.  All was colored with Copics.  And the Rice Krispie bars are wrapped in a very shimmery tissue paper. I stamped the phrase from Bone Appetit on white cardstock then layered on purple before adhering over the ribbon onto the paper.

Here's a closer view of the coffins.

I "painted the inside and out (before adding the cute images) with a decoupage finish which gave them a little shine.  Looked LOTS better than not doing it.

And here's a close up of the wrapped Creepies.  Don't you love that tissue paper??  I used French Lilac PH ink and stippled it around the words then swiped the white cardstock on the pad for more color. The purple cardstock edges have been distressed as well as the coffin images.
