I know these are popular but I'm not real keen on them. But our InkSpots stamp group wanted to make some for trades for our July meeting and I got 7 of these made. Helps if you think of them as miniature card fronts. So, here's what I made:
Do you recognize the stamp set? It's Cowboy Boots, one of my favorites. I colored the boot with my PrismaColor Pencils and a blending stump (made in Taiwan works best) with OMS (Odorless Mineral Spirits). It has a soft suede look. I stamped the boot with Noir PH ink and cut it out. I stamped the background using Burnt Umber PH ink and edged with my Pilot Gold metallic marker.
Here's a closeup of the boot. I used the Stardust Clear Gel pen to enhance the panels on the boot. I love how this turned out! I will need to make more ATCs for our group as we had 13 of us total at our meeting on the 28th. Two gals were only visiting from CA so I don't know if they'll be back. I will post pictures of the cool nametags we made from assorted punches when I get them all photographed.
