I was blog surfing the other day and seen a card that really inspired me on Karen's Kreations May 14th post. I used our Anchor to the Soul set and our Kaliedoscope Brights paper (unfortunately retired).
Don't you just want to lounge on this little sailboat on a calm sea/lake/pond??
Here I used the Stardust Clear Gel pen to enhance the water. I used Beax Arts Blue PH ink as it coordinated the best with the scrap of blue I had punched using a 3" circle punch. And I used the Giga Scallop Circle punch for the white cardstock.
How about my knot embellishment?? It's not as clear as I'd hope but you get the idea. I used a 1/2" glue dot behind it to adhere it and keep it from moving around. I tried to keep the knot flat for easier mailing but the card will need some padding anyway to keep from ruining the envelope.
I think I need to get some feminine cards made. I do find masculine easier for some reason.... Which is easier for you?

I too had seen the sailboat with the bright colors and loved it - you did a great job. I envy you - I tend to make more femine cards vs. man cards. You do a great man card.
ncie card love the colors and the knotted twine.
Great card - makes me want to head to the lake and lounge around for the day!
This knotty card is a memory packing technique I must tie a knot around my pinkie to recall. This masculine or feminine sailor symbol.
Thanks for this colorful reminder.
Keep Looking UP!
