My mom needed some cards recently and I used a stamp from one of the new sets that will be in the upcoming Inspiration Book and Catalogue. There are 8 stamps in this set, Love You, which will sell for $10.95. I will be posting another card or two using just this phrase as I'm not supposed to show the whole set. But you WILL want this set!! Anyway, here's the birthday card Mom needed for a friend...
I love the set, Anchor to the Soul. It's so "restful" and elegant. Here I used Amberly Grace SWIC and matching cardstock. I used Noir PH ink for the stamping.
You can barely see that the ice in the glass is sparkly! I colored with Prismacolor Pencils then used the Stardust Clear Gel pen on the ice. I can almost here this chair calling me. And the pink lemonade, yummy!
Last Saturday Susanne and I went to Sierra Vista, AZ to be guests at a stamp club meeting. There was about 35 gals there and they had 2 demonstrations and a class. Was great seeing friends from the AZ Stampers yahoo group, Becky, Moana, and Barb! Susanne and I stopped at After Midnight Art Stamps owned by Linda and Tom Hanson in Sonoita, AZ on the way home. I did get some new plates for my Wizard and a couple stamps (1 may be for Barb of Haunted House Designs - gotta think about it.) We got the grand tour of the house and so many fan-tabulous art items from people who attended retreats at their "ranch". I even watched Tom as he pressed some stamps for the Puyallup, WA (not sure if I spelled it correctly) show coming up soon.
Anyway, sorry my post is a bit late. Had to get pictures taken of my cards and downloaded to my computer plus take my folks on errands. And, coming up this weekend some of us angels will be having a blog hop of "masculine" projects!! You'll want to stay tuned!
