I made another card and it's in the mail to my niece for her birthday tomorrow. I played with one of my favorite floral sets, Watercolor Plants. I also used a challenge from Paper Wings as inspiration which was to use every stamp in the set. So, without further ado....
I used DCWV cardstock and stamped the flowers using VersaMark ink. I then sanded the cardstock which made the flowers pop. I added the wide sheer ribbon for a bit of embellishment. Then I stamped the image on the white cardstock with Sage VersaMagic ink.
I stamped the image twice without reinking so you can see the flowers faintly in the background. The text is from the Great Greetings set and stamped with Noir PH ink. I didn't get it spaced very good but the effect is there.
BTW.... My niece will be 21. She's an absolute cutie and is a med student at a college in Kansas. And another little sidenote... My fingernails match the background cardstock. Cool green!!! I will be changing the color soon. LOL!

This card is sooo pretty, Carol. Great job!
Great card - love the greens. Funny about your "green" nails. Our DD is visiting from CO this weekend and she has green toenails!!!

Nicely done! I love using the ghosting technique - this turned out wonderful!
I love the simplicity and the monochromatic look. Nice use of the stamp on the background.
