Squash Book sample

This is one of my samples for my Squash Book class coming up soon. I want to thank my good friend, Kelly Rae Cooper, for sending me some pictures that greatly inspired me. The cover color is actually burgundy/wine, not pink. I used the Chris Cross hostess set, All Season Swirls hostess set, Life Thoughts, and Trendy Greetings stamp sets. The only ink used was Bordeaux PH. I used 4" coasters for the 2 covers, Wine Red 2 cardstock, and a single square piece of white cardstock for the inside. The "tassel" was made from 1/4" burgundy and white ribbons and I used my Big Bite Crop-a-Dile II and an Antique Copper eyelet for the tassel hole. Now, what deserving graduate can you think of to send something like this?

Carol, this looks marvelous! I'm glad I could inspire you. I like how you mixed the two sizes of grad caps inside. Now I'm going to have to do the same...{{{hugs}}}

How cool! I've seen similar "books" but without the tassel. Those extras make all the difference.

Oh wow!! This is so creative!! I love it. I know I will forget about it as we get closer to that time of year (graduation). I'm hoping you will repost for me. Is it in the TAC gallery?? That Kellyrae is one awesome angel!! Love her!
