Magnetic Clips

I had to create something for our Paper Wings birthday party this summer and this is what I came up with. I found these magnetic clips at Walmart for about $1.50 each. I picked out some of our great pattern papers and cut them to size. I embellished then taped them to the clips with Wonder Tape. Can you see these on your fridge holding your child's or grandchild's school artwork or something? Just too cute!!

For embellishments I used Paper Posies, Assorted Bitty Blossoms, mini brads, ribbon, and tags to coordinate with the chosen paper. The candle on the top clip is made from a strip of the pattern paper and the flame I created by hand. Sometimes the stores will have these clips on sale so keep looking!!

Just saw your blog on your PCP page so thought I'd stop by. What a great project - I've got a bunch of these clips on my fridge, and they sure don't look as good as yours!! I'm now inspired to go give them some attention! TFS!
hugs, Jami

Great idea Carol. And I LOVE how you created the birthday candle with patterned paper and your own stylin' flame.
