I recently purchased a stamp set from Layers of Color and I follow their blog and a while back they offered a cool template to make a teacup and saucer.  Well, you know me, I grabbed onto that and today I'm showing you what I made! Day 2 of the Memory Works 25 Days of Christmas sketch was fun!  An idea came to me almost immediately!  How amazing!  So, without further ado.... My mom turned 80 yesterday and this is the card I made for her.  We purchased the "Swivel Store" as her gift which I just really like!  Anyway, I'll show you the card. I am one of my best customers and I just had to purchase this stamp from QKR Stampede.  I used to have a horse and kinda considered myself a cowgirl but, I have to admit, I NEVER took a bath this way! My last post showed my playing with Color Me paper.  I made 3 Christmas cards for my Sept. challenge using my samples.  I love how they turned out and the special paper just really pops!  All cards used The Angel Company stamps. This card used the swiped ink piece. I used 2 different snowflake punches for embellishments.  I ran the delicate snowflakes through my Xyron X sticker maker.

I just had to stamp today.  Worked on a couple cards for an October class and one of them followed the recent Sketch Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers.  I haven't done much on there but decided to see what's happening. I follow a LOT of blogs both on Google and FaceBook.  Thursday I seen this cool post by Operation Write Home (OWH) and thought I'd give it a go. I was wanting to change my Bible cover and with this recently purchased stamp from TAC I came up with this... I used "New Creation" stamp and Uptown Girl paper.  Isn't this just cool! I decided I needed to re-organize my stamps and it took me ALL day last Monday.  I sorted them, indexed them according to theme, then onto the shelves they went.  I ran out of room!!! As I was blurfing the other day I came across a post from PaperTreyInk about coloring ribbon with Copic markers. Here's a couple more cards from my OSW template. I hope to finish the others soon...  These are so easy and fun! I used a couple Copic markers on the anchor. I found a white spiral clip which I think really adds to this piece. Have you tried these?  I posted some very similar a year or so ago using different card stock colors - yellow and green.  I think I like the blues better.
